Housework!!

Does anyone else struggle to find time to do their housework? My home is a tip and it depresses me. We live in a one bedroom flat so space is my huge bug bear. I seem to spend so much time tidying up after my daughter and husband that actually finding time to get the duster or the hoover out is difficult.

I'm a sahm and should be doing allsorts today as have posh mate coming for first time after school

Unfortunately I turned on the pooter

Don't have any excuse though so will be on here until 11 am and then going to to at least an hour.

Fancy a challenge kessernags or are you busy?

I will join in a housework challenge im going to make my downstairs look CLEAN. not just tidy and slightly grubby/ 5 more mins on here though

I feel the same and can't have DH coming home to a tip AGAIN tonight - not when I'm hardly doing anything. So need to do it NOW as I'm going out at 1pm - going to clean bathroom, hoover, hang washing, clear kitchen of last night's washing up and general tidy up.
Back here at midday hopefully all done.

Just started to blitz sitting room, rearranged furniture, reorganised baby toys and put away the playpen. Got hoover out and it won't start - oh well have come on here instead!

Right, did bathroom and tidied living room. Off to hoover now and clear clutter in kitchen.

I've so far managed to dust three rooms (in desperate need), clean the kitchen sink and the loo. Little one asleep now so its a bit tricky to hoover but I am going to try.

Well one hour has passed, how have we all done? I havent managed to put the hoover round yet but I have folded up some washing and out the next lot on. My dinner is on as well. I'm starving (as always).

One room nearly done. Going to continue till my mum gets here at 1.
I too am always starving. I start the day with a slimfast or I will just keep munching crap all day.

Excellent Kessernags I've done everything I said and have to go back and do more but it's worth it. Just have 5 mins on here then off again.
