Cleaning Ice/Water Dispenser on Fridge

I have an American style fridge freezer with built in ice and water dispenser. Due to a house move it has been sitting around disconnected for about a year. I have run a load of Milton through the pipes but the water and ice have a funny taste. Is there anything I can use to clean it?

Thanks

try a denture tablet or two.

There is also a product called Chempro SDP used by home-brewers to clean vessels and pipes. Some chemists sell it.

Thanks, your suggestion of Chempro SDP has gave me the idea to try caravan water cleaning products. I now have a pot of PuriClean (same ingredient as Chempro SDP) to try.
