Can anyone recommend a good washing machine?

Old machine has packed in. I need to get another one pretty quick. We use the machine a lot (3 DCs, 2 still in washable nappies) so it needs to be able to go the distance!

Have been thinking about the samsung eco bubble. Any good?

Swedish, you might want to adjust it's little legs to make sure it is absolutely level., that will stop it moving.

I have 2 American Top Loaders in the garage upup.

However, don't use them due to the amount of water that they use (on meter).

Also I found they get clothes covered in lint like mad, but this is probably due to me not separating towels.

I do like how fast they are though, can get stacks done very quick in them.

You can still get them (Costco have them in this months offer brochure) however, they are becoming rarer.

Hotpoint are not too bad if you have not got enough cash cash to buy a Miele They do a 5 year parts guarantee (you still have to pay the labour)

ilovepowerhoop · 26/07/2014 14:35

my new samsung ecobubble mentioned earlier had a 2 year guarantee that you could upgrade to 5 years - it is for both parts and labour. I have upgraded to the 5 years.

Second Bosch. A well known reliable make.

I also like LG. My machine was inherited from my mum when she moved in to care for my nan. Shiny, silver and snazzy looking. My dad is a self taught washing machine fixer and was impressed by the build on the LG.

I have worked it so hard that after I'd had it for a month or so , I told my mum 'it's crying to come back to you!'

Not a chance Grin

I love it and my next machine will be Bosch or LG only or if I win the lottery a Meile

Love my AEG - even brought it back from abroad. It's got variable everything on almost every programme and a brilliant 20 minute quick wash which still gives you variable spin speed options.

Had a Bosch for 13 years and very happy with it. Replaced it with an AEG which we have had for 4 1/2 years. It takes a large load which was very attractive, and John Lewis were giving out a FREE extended warranty at the time (5 years) which made it very good value.
