Help_ Dishwashers Virgin. Dishwasher has washed dishes but there water lurking in the bottom

Lots of it. Have removed what I think are the filter and something else and its still there. Help please

I would have said that there's something stuck in the filter but if you've tried that I can't suggest anything else other than a blocked outlet pipe?

Hello, my bottom bit (the bit you have removed) is always full of water after a cycle. I think it is meant to do that. Mine still washes fine with it and it is not down on the troubleshooting page as a problem. I would try the next cycle and see if it works. What make is it?>?

are you sure you have let it finish its cycle ie drying and then emtying water? sorry if that sounds obvious

Yes, but c cat is saying the whole of the base of the dishwasher is full of water - that's not right

hoover, its beyond the filter, the whole of the bottom is a big puddle. Not sinking either

Does the machine have salt in it?? Try switching it off at the mains and then asking it just to do a rinse cycle it will maybe clear itself. If it is a blockage them finish do a dishwasher rinser which is really good.

Sounds like draining pipe is not in the right position.So the water can't go out it.

sounds blocked. mine has done this a couple of times too - usually when i have not scraped plates properly

Sorry pc froze. Had to reboot. Brought new plates that had sticky labels on the back that the dishwasher has managed to get off and found those in the filter...going to see if I can find a rinse cycle. thanks
