Washable pillows that stay pillow shaped.

I know most pillows say they are washable these days, but I've found they don't stay pillow shaped and come out like two boulders in a sack. Are there any which actually survive being washed? I don't have a tumble drier, not sure if that matters.

The only pillow which has lasted me is my dunlopillow, bought for me by my mum before I left home 15 years ago and still going strong! The covers are washable but not the pillows themselves, don't know if that's any use to you? I am sick of buying pillows and them going lumpy in a year or so and will be forking out more on decent pillows next time!

We have 'pillows that love to be washed' from M&S. Don't know if they still do them - they are the only pillows I've ever had that come out looking and feeling like a pillow rather than a huge lump of wadding in a saggy cover.

Dreams sell pillows which claim to love being washed.

I have the same pillows as pizdets. I have only ever hand washed them but they have kept their shape and ten years on are as comfortable as the day I bought them (expensive though at £50 each but that works out at only £5 a year on really good quality pillows)

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look. Really need something washable as DH sweats loads in his sleep, and a normal pillow protector is not enough to keep it dry.
