Can you not take it to a laundrette and wash it in one of their big machines??

MatNanPlus · 13/09/2006 13:18

What filling has it?

auntyquated · 13/09/2006 13:18

no- they will go in lauderette washing machines.
or if you are night training....do nothing, let it dry and bin it once s/he is dry

southeastastra · 13/09/2006 13:19

scrub it off with water and detergent let it dry in the sun

HuwEdwards · 13/09/2006 13:20

ah yes, filling, just let me check (antyquated it was a very very rare accident from my 5yo consequently a very big wee). Luckily I always have a mattress protector on...

I put single duvets through my machine.

been having this dilemma myself as 6yr old dd2 still having accidents at night. i've decided to just wipe patches of wet with a bit of dettol and water and, until she is completely dry at night, just keep drying it off and reusing it. feel a bit dirty about it but i can't keep running to the launderette and it doesn't fit in the washing machine.

MatNanPlus · 13/09/2006 19:31

cutekids you could try a spray with the pet accident spray, works well as febreeze antibac.

daisy1999 · 13/09/2006 21:06

you can get pvc covers for the duvet which go under the duvet cover but I always felt this could cause over heating or suffocation!
