Anyone just started off with fly lady want to join in and give support.

Only just shined my sink and got my shoes on, so a long way to go, mine aren't even lace ups (SSH!)

BTW anyone know of a similar site that doesn't insist on hugging you through your sink each day, hasn't Anthea got a site up and running. I don't see her handing out hugs every 2 mins and worrying about your laceups .

Hi Skribble, I know what you mean about the big threads. I've JUST finished shining my sink for the first time!

JessaJam · 13/09/2006 14:58

Nah! the big thread is full of people at all different stages of babysteps and beyond...I'm on about day 20, there are others newer to it than I am.

I personally don't "do" the shoe thing, nor do I "bless" my house, nor consider the "whole familiy blessed" when the laundry is done!!!! I skirt around the loopiness with a firm yet tolerant smile!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 13/09/2006 15:10

Re shoes,I think my name says it all!!

I can't remember what babystep stage im on.Im just working through the zones hoping one day i will be into detailed cleaning!

trinityshiftingherleatheryarse · 13/09/2006 15:14

I'm not att all prganised, i've had tostart fresh a couple of time, join the big one pleeeeease

Skribble · 13/09/2006 22:02

The loopiness is a bit funny, but I suppose the principles behind them do hold up. It makes sense to get dressed and presentable, all to often I am lounging on the settee and can't answer the door as I am still in my dressing gown with my hair sticking up, plus it means when I hear the bin lorry outside I can't dash outside to haul the bin out. I suppose with flylady you would have put it out the night before anyway .

Shoes will be sandals but I promise not to kick them off at the first opportunity, honest .

I shined my sink weeks ago and it needs doing again already

BarefootJasnem · 14/09/2006 13:09

I'm on the big thread (guess where I stand on the shoe debate)and am picking the bits that suit. It is that thread which is motivating me, not the FL stuff tbh

Jimjams2 · 14/09/2006 13:19

I'll join you...... I'm off to shine my sink...

Skribble · 14/09/2006 15:50

Day 3 didn't seem much a challenge so I did my errands as someone on the big thread mentioned Thurs is errands day. The fully initiated are working on bathrooms so I might try and do a bit more than cleaning the bath, the cupboard is full of bottles and tubes so weel over due a fling.

Bucketsofdinosaurs you are supposed to shine it everyday, not once a fortnight you slattern.
