Security Gate for Windows

I am thinking of having a security gate installed on my child's bedroom window. So that we can keep the windows open and still feel secure. Does anybody have any idea how much it is likely to cost. Large windows about 220 x 130 cm and or recommend any companies? Thankyou

restrictor Window Restrictors are more common and less unsightly, they prevent you opening the window far enough to fall out. I prefer the rigid ones to the cables, I think it is harder for a burglar to snip them.

I had window restrictors fitted a couple of years ago after I found one of the DCs' friends had climbed up on to a widowsill and was hanging out of a third floor window to speak to someone below. From memory I think it was about £125 per window. Company carried out work throughout Scotland. Send me a pm if you want the details.
