Tell me, MN; which gadgets can't you live without? Especially kitchen ones. I have a toaster, a kettle and a microwave but that's it. What will change my life? A George Foreman? A kitchen aid? A juicer? What?

I love my steamer and slow cooker with toast is maker a close 3rd. I've also got a sandwich maker thing that is amazing for toasted cheese sandwiches or paninis.

I had a George foreman but I hated it. It wasn't big enough for all of us and was a nightmare to clean. Much prefer my grill and grill pan for the hob.

I'd love a kitchenaid but they're too expensive for now.

I have a kitchenaid and have become embarrassingly addicted to it in a very short space of time! I make cakes weekly though so it really does make a difference. And it's so prettySmile

I love my Panasonic Breadmaker, Magimix food processor, Kenwood mixer and Panini Maker. I would struggle to choose which one to save in a fire though, I love them all equally!

What is the difference between a mixer and a processor?

My Magimix chops, grates, and whisks my Mixer is like a kitchen aid and beats and whips, it has a bread hook too but I don't use that. Basically I use the Kenwood for cake and the Magimix for food prep, although both can do more.

I'm not very gadgety. I do have a food processor though which is great.

Really good sharp knives and a Microplane grater are my essentials. And decent heavy based pans.
