that although i'm pretty organised i prefer neat to clean.
i'm not fussed on cleaning, will do it only because if i don't i can guarantee mil will visit unexpectedly.

Im was and still am (sometimes) lazy but at least now im less cluttered and one day will be clutter free!

domestickler · 11/09/2006 21:56

No not a lazy heifer

In my case it did get done but was crap at maintaining and actually spent far more time and effort on it than i do now!

so ner

mummy2ashton · 11/09/2006 22:30

i also think before fly lady i spend so much time cleaning but the place never seemed clean! now the place does look clean and tidy and neat, i love it! i wasn't "lazy" before, just never knew where to start, it seemed so overwhelming. now its just easy!

mummyhill · 12/09/2006 00:41

Not lazy just not very organised. Now I have someone organising me I can do stuff instead of standing there paralysed wondering where to start.

Flamesparrow · 12/09/2006 08:51

Yup. Although I don't say lazy heifer and prefer to say that I am "motivated in a different direction" eg books etc...

lol cod

Things were fine until the summer hols, then my house went to pot (mainly because I was dealing with a family crisis for most of it).

Anyway, had a go at the flylady philosophy yesterday and it seems to have me motivated again!

shazronnie · 12/09/2006 09:49

that i was wasting alot of time getting very little done!
now i do 15 mins and a kellys mission and the house is clean!

JessaJam · 12/09/2006 10:18

Lazy - yes
Lacking in motivation - yes
Overwhelmed by the sheer enormity of the pile of clutter, paperwork and ironing taking over the whole house - yes

I have also learned that no matter what a slightly loopy lady in America tells me, I am not going to put lace up shoes on first thing every morning!

Chloe55 · 12/09/2006 10:19
  • I agree Jessajam!!!
Skribble · 12/09/2006 23:34

Shoe thing always got me, I am doing well if I get dressed before 11am. Birkies will have to do if I go for this .
