Cleaning a frosted glass shower screen?

MegMogandOwlToo · 13/07/2014 08:21

I had a clear glass folding shower screen, but the seals on the folding snapped, so the retailer replaced it, but they now only sell frosted ones

It looked lovely until I had a shower, now it's covered in marks.

I cleaned it with a normal bathroom cleaner and dried it with a towel, but it still looks marked, any ideas?

www.ozkleen.co.uk/products/bath.php If you can find this stuff at a decent price, buy it! A skoosh, wipe, and rinse does the job.

White vinegar spray from Wilkos or a magic sponge, both excellent.

I guess you are talking about limescale marks so vinegar is not the best option.. Try Lime Lite limescale remover I use it to clean my mirrors as well. I used to get mine from supermarkets but it dissapeared some time ago, so I stock up from mcbride-direct.co.uk now

Vinegar is good but not as good as a professional product, it doesn't clean soap and toothpaste residue that well and I guess I just don't like the smell of vinegar Hmm

I use a ceramic hob cleaner on my shower screen. Astonish from home bargains. It's in a pot. Give it a good scrub, rinse of with water, squeegee the water away then when dry, wipe the water marks with kitchen roll
