Getting biro off ballet shoes?

Does anyone know how to help? I suspect Ds is the culprit, it's only a smallish line but it's right at the front on the toe and I would really like to get it out.

Hairspray is the only thing which removes biro. I have used it on a cream carpet and dds jeans. Spray and leave, you will see it breaking it down then wash. You may need to repeat it

Might depend how old the ink is as well. I used it on fresh ink

Swarfega, mechanics green hand cleaner will shift biro as long as it hasn't been washed.

Will be a bit evil to get out of satin shoes, but ok on leather ones.
