If they were washable I'd say neat fairy liquid - but if they are dry clean I don't have a clue

Sorry Sad

If they are dry clean only don't touch them - take them to the dry cleaners. I did that once and whatever it was I'd done made the cleaning process less successful.

WUL if washable.

Yep, if they're dry clean only let the drycleaners deal with it.

Otherwise, neat washing up liquid rubbed into the grease mark and then wash.

But you could also try using a warm iron (not hot!) with the trousers between 2 pieces of kitchen towel, to at least get some of the grease out of the fabric and into the tissue and then follow washing/cleaning instructions as above.

Talc or bicarbonate can also be used to absorb grease. I'd be wary of applying heat as it can fix stains.

I meant to type just bicarb

Another vote for neat washing up liquid, rubbed in well, if they are washable. It doesn't need to be Fairy, any will do. If it doesn't come out the first time, repeat the treatment.
