Silly question....

I'm planning to start using hot soapy water to clean most surfaces in my home for cost and health reasons. I was wondering which is the best soap to use, washing up liquid or a bar of soap that I can grate?
Is medicated or antibacterial soap better than just an own brand?, or should I just stick to sprays.

Just ordinary washing up liquid

I Occassionally use a mild bleach solution too

Thank you. I think I'm over thinking this.

Agreeing with Mrsg, plus I add Zoflora for floors and non-food surfaces. Congratulations on reducing aerosol use.

I use Aldi's own version of Flash liquid. I prefer it to washing up liquid as it isn't as sudsy.

I use stardrops

Well I used hot water and washing up liquid to do the kitchen last night, and it good and the fact that it doesn't smell of anything good or bad is encouraging. I may try something else for the sinks and baths though, I think I need something more abrasive.

Thanks for all your help though Grin
