Freshening up a mattress

We have visitors next week and are offering our bed. How can I freshen up the mattress?

At the moment there is a mattress protector on there, there will be new pillows/duvets.

Is there anything else I can do?

Sprinkle some bicarbonate of soda on the mattress, wait a while then hoover, will freshen it up nicely!
