Pee teddy :)

I promise I'm not a pee troll, however...

Dd did a remarkable fountain pee over a very special teddy with a rattle in it.

Honestly DH didn't totally encourage her Shock

Any ideas how to clean it up?

Definitely can't go in the wash and though I'm tempted to pretend it never happened, it should really be cleaned up.

I usually throw anything without batteries in the washing machine, handwash cycle if I'm feeling kind. Other than that, sponge it well, spray white vinegar over it and leave it in the sunshine tomorrow.

Sunshine a good idea, fruit.

into a pillow case.
wool cycle with a little shampoo.
if it doesn't survive it's not worth keeping imo (so far all soft toys have survived)

with battery toys, the battery block can often be removed and sown/put back in.

Put it in the washing machine anyway. Is it very special as in well loved by DD, or as in it's an expensive Steiff thing?

Both sorts have survived the washing machine here. If it's well loved it will need to be washed regularly when DD is older anyway - at the toddler stage they get smelly especially if chewed! We've lost a few rattley bits and squeakers eventually but generally after a few washes, and toys have been just as loved afterwards.
