Help.

Don't ask how it got there but DH has soot flecks over one of his very best shirts, he washed it on a 30*C wash with Vanish but they have stayed, I've now tried stain devils all purpose but its made no difference.

Any tips? Its not white, its blue faint striped and only a few weeks old!

Thank you

How about Ace Bleach in the wash? You can let it soak in for a few minutes before you turn the wash on. I've always found it better than Vanish. It's specially for laundry - not like using Domestos. Failing that I've read you can use rubbing alcohol - we have surgical spirit so I'd give that a go.

I would suggest using a Biological POWDER, along with a hotter wash if the Shirt will allow it.
