Rust in shower room?

My ensuite has got. Bit grotty - mainly due to the heat not being on to dry it out

Rust has appeared around the toilet seat etc. any tips ?

Probably the metal hinges. Might possibly be the screws that hold the cistern to the pan, or hold the cistern to the wall. I always buy stainless now. You will have to identify the rusty part though.

Tell me about the bathroom extractor fan. Does it work, and how often, how long do you run it?
