What are these orange marks on my washing?!

In my last two or three white washes some of the items have come out with orange marks on them, they look as if tomato soup has been blobbed on and not come out in the wash, but there was definitely nothing spilt on them before they went in the wash.

I've just put the machine on a very hot wash with white vinegar in, in case there's something in the drum, but does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?!

Oo I've got the same! Only noticed it recently - I think it might be a small rust-spot in the drum?

Not sure what to do with it tho.

I think sometimes this happens on dark clothes because I (well, DH) put a cleaning cloth in that's been used for bleach spay. Even when I've told him not to...

Hmmmm, I have done some washes that have had bleached items in them, but washed separately to my usual washes. Should I have done a rinse cycle in between?

I had that and turned out to be baby liquid steriliser. I believe bleach has the same effect.

But it's on whites !?

WingsClipped · 27/06/2014 23:19

Check your machine. Might be a rusted penny in your seals?

BobPatandIgglePiggle · 27/06/2014 23:26

Rust on your radiator? I ruined lots of ds' baby stuff before I realised what it was.

Have had bleach spray turn whites orange after washing. Dunno why.
