Does this win the award for most boring MN thread?!
I think I've broken my iron. I chucked in some limescale stuff and let the iron steam it all out iykwim as per the instructions. Wiped it with vinegar (as per google because it's been leaving white marks on things). Anyway, just tried using it - the smell! Jesus. Tried steaming and this brown gunk came out. And the silver (non stick stuff?) on the hot bit if the iron has come off. Arse.
What did I do wrong? Was it not clean it for as long as I've had it?!
And can anyone recommend an iron I can easily get in argos or somewhere similar? TIA
