I've just washed a coat hanger - is it just me?!

This morning I have accidentally put a coat hanger through the wash with the clothes. No idea how I didn't notice putting it in. It came out in 2 pieces, a bit scuffed and very clean! Machine and clothes are unscathed.
Last month I gave DD's swimming goggles a quick spin.
Anyone else found any unexpected items in the wash?

Erm, a very expensive fountain pen. And an iPod.

Nails that were in dp's pocket after he had been building a shed. My fault of course because it's my job to check a grown mans pockets
Luckily my washing machine was left unscathed.

Loads of things! Clothes pegs, carrots (??!), even a used nappy. That wasn't so good...

A nappy and a tube of toothpaste. Domestic goddess I am not.

A clean tampon and I tumble dried it too!!! The plastic wrapping came off so it was big and fluffy by the time it came out! It had been in my jeans pocket!

Did wash a Skylander- sadly it didn't work afterwards, Ds was quite cross with me!

A crystal bowl. Washing machine was dented and full of tiny shards of glass :(

a pedometer, didn't come out as well as the coins do - they're always nice and shiny. Toothpicks are a regular feature in the filter too.

Smart car key, you know the type, does the unlocking/locking and the alarm system at the touch of a button. Still worked afterwards.

On a slightly different note I put a pizza in the oven on the plastic board once. Took weeks to get rid of the smell

Disposable nappy - hate all the wet soggy gel stuff that gets everywhere . Ive done this twice now just through sheer tiredness I think ,scooping up baby's clothes after bath time and forgetting the nappy is there ...

I'm always washing things where my 1 year old puts them in the machine with the clothes and I don't notice. usually toys, shoes etc
