Is baking soda the same as bicarbonate soda?

Trying to remove pee stains from Lino flooring!

Yes, same thing.

Try using white vinegar as well. Helps to remove any smells. And I find that spray vinegar on after sprinkling on the Bicarb is great at removing stains. The reaction clears them up.

I'm sad but I love watching it fizz. Grin

Grin me too - god how sad my life is these days - (runs to supermarket to buy said items)

Could you use that on carpets as well? I have an orange juice stain on mine that has so far beaten everything I've tried.

NigellasDealer · 25/06/2014 11:49

tis worth a try onetwo - it would not damage or bleach the carpet anyway.

Onetwothreeoops · 25/06/2014 12:27

Nope no effect. Worth a try though.

When baking soda failed on my carpet stain, glycerine rubbed in then rinsed off did a good job, 123oops.
