Asking my dh since friday to carry the hoover upstairs for me. He doesnt want a cleaner but cant be bothered to help me with little things i cant do. And then they have the bloody cheek to say we nag!!!

Tell him you're buying one of those hand held hoover thingys unless he helps.
I know how you feel. I'm not really supposed to lug hoover up and down the stairs as I have prolapse so shouldn't risk making it worse. I intend on buying a lightweight handheld model just for the stairs.

Thats a good idea about hand held one.which do u have. Currently have a upright vax which is similar design to dyson but lighter. Just not ideal for the stairs or carrying upstairs.

Buy a hand held Dyson - I love mine

Get two hoovers - job done! :)
