Smelly kitchen table!

Can anyone recommend how to make my wooden kitchen table smell clean?!

DD2 (6mths) vomited over it yesterday and I just cannot get the smell out of it! Have tried hot, soapy water, dettol wipes and dettol anti-bac spray. I have lots of bicarb but no white vinegar - can I make a smell removing concoction with that??

Have friends coming for dinner tomorrow and at this rate no one will fancy eating!

Do you have any lemons or a bottle of lemon juice? Use lemon juice and salt. Or I guess you could use lemon juice and bicarb.

bicarb in water. No lemon juice.

Yep, bicarb cracked it! Made a sort of paste with bicarb and soapy water, then left it on overnight and washed it off in the morning and have had no nasty smell since!
