Any tips for cleaning a trampoline?

Our trampoline (which can not be moved) is near evergreen trees. Bits of dried twigs etc accumulate over the winter which I sweep out but there is green stuff (I suppose it could be lichen) all over the net and on the fabric that runs around the edge of the trampoline (covering the springs that hold it on to the frame). It is really dirty.

Has anyone successfully cleaned their trampoline and if so with what cleaning agents and implements?

I would just be worried that some cleaning agents might not be safe for the kids and for the fabric (don't want anyone's foot to go through it)!

We have a cover for ours which we use during the winter. If it does get mucky I use a dry scrubbing brush on the jumping bit - gets rid of most stuff. On the spring covering, I would use a mild solution of washing up liquid and a scrubbing brush.

Hiya, same here, I used washing up liquid in bowl of warm water and a scrubbing brush on the fabric round the edge and then hosed it off.

I find a powerful spray with the hose works perfectly Smile
