what does it smell of? you could turn it on with the door open for a while

it is a really syntheti chemically smell. I left both ovens and grill on for half an hour and then opened the doors. I think i was actually halucinating from the stench

I got a new cooker recently and I think the instructions said to turn the heat up high and leave it on for about an hour. It was quite smelly (not as bad as yours from the sound of it) but it burned off the chemicals. How long do the instructions say you should burn off for?

With the cooker I got last year, we left in on full heat for an hr and a half, It was ok after that. maybe you should leave it on for longer. I went outside when doing mine. Then oust the kitchen. all smells gone then.
