Least "dusty" toilet roll?

What do you use? I have noticed that ours (Lidl) really sheds a lot of dust when you rip sheets off and it's hard enough keeping on top of things as it is, without adding even more!!

What do you use? I am looking for the least dusty! SmileSmile

Andrex. Even sainsburys own brand shed like mad.

thecherryontop · 07/06/2014 19:55

Andrex shea butter Smile

I think the quilted ones are least bad. Does anybody else agree this has got worse the last few years, I dont recall having to pick up endless bits from the floor previously.Have they radically rejigged the formula or something?

hiddenhome · 07/06/2014 23:30

Newspaper.

chocolatespiders · 07/06/2014 23:39

If you have home bargains near you then buy Nicky toilet roll it is amazing for the price. rolls £1.99

JaycesMummy · 07/06/2014 23:45

Triple Velvet as it is always on special offer :)

iggymama · 08/06/2014 16:54

Another vote for Nicky 3 ply, I buy 18 rolls for 4 pounds from Farm Foods.

kinkytoes · 08/06/2014 21:39

Glad other people have noticed this too. Can't believe the mess the Sainsbury's own brand loo roll makes! Quilted is definitely the way to go.

Nocomet · 08/06/2014 21:43

Tesco's is awful, clouds of white bits every time you tear it.

I thought it was only me who cursed toilet roll 'dust'

SweetPeaPods · 08/06/2014 22:18

I find Andrex to be the worst ! My dad swears by Aldi

wickedfairy · 09/06/2014 21:13

Thanks everyone. So, a mixed bag, I must investigateSmile

I get what you are asking but really? Dont you have anything more important to worry about!!! Grin

AChickenNamedDirk · 09/06/2014 21:25

I admit to regularly dusting off my loo roll holder though for this reason.

monkeyharris · 09/06/2014 21:33

This drives me mad too, I can clean the bathroom to within an inch of its life and the next day the windowsill (which is above the toilet roll holder) is full of toilet paper dust again!!! Angry I have found own brands and Andrex are worse than Cushelle, for example. Trouble is, toilet paper is so expensive when it is not on offer...

Icelollycraving · 09/06/2014 21:34

Charmin is good for this but doesn't last as long as Andrex.

ilovepowerhoop · 09/06/2014 21:37

another vote for Nicky toilet rolls. I get 18 for £3.99 in Home Bargains

ouryve · 09/06/2014 21:43

Andrex quilts. Only ones that I both don't put my finger straight through and don't have to keep wiping off everything, every day.

The worst are Velvet. Sheds dust like a roll of dead moths.

mouselittle · 12/06/2014 12:03

normal andrex is really dusty. andrex quilts are a lot less dusty
