I have been saving them for a while. Nearly used them on some flights but they bought jack sh*&
So what to do ....its worth 650 in sainsburys but dp says 'there must be a more cost effective way of spending them'
Anyone and ideas I am have absolutely no idea how it works!

Nectar points are rubbish - Tesco's are much better value

There is a book of giftie things you can buy with them - just checked out the website but that part is down atm. They were worth double at Adams recently but I bet you couldn't have bought £1300 worth of Adams clothes!

you could all go to Alton Towers for free or Lego Land?

It's a crap scheme. I worked out once that I'd have to spend something like £10,000 [possibly slight exaggeration] at Sainsbury's to get an electric hand held mixer with the points scheme.

Sorry, that's not much help but I agree with PF - Tesco's scheme is far superior.

I thought I had a lot (up until July 30 000)
Recent offer was 500 points for £7.50 at Adams
I redeemed some of mine for this.
I spent 2000 on a month at Cannons for 2 people.

charliecat · 03/09/2006 14:20

I take it you have had a look here

I'd just use them for whatever you normally get and then save the real money; spend them in Sainsburys if I were you

we do this with WH Smith gift vouchers; spend them on the Radio Times or whatever, a little bit at a time

boring I know but still... better than spending for the sake of it on something you don't really need
