Whoops! Too much washing powder...

Ok rookie mistake. First time using powder (usually a liquid fan) and I think I may have put too much in. There was no scoop in the box so I had to guess. It's really sudsy. Will it rinse out ok or will I have to redo it?

I did put some fabric softener in too. Will that help?

You will feel it on the fabric when its done if its still soapy. If so another long rinse will sort it

Thank you for your reply. It felt fine so haven't had to rinse again. I'm using ecover powder and there's a number on the box to ring up if there's no scoop. My bet is there are no scoops in ANY of the boxes!

Are you sure it's definatly not in the box hiding under the powder, last time I got ecover the scoop was flat pack cardboard, and you squeezed the sides to turn it into the scoop. Mine was tucked down the side of the powder.

Ah that's interesting. Ok I shall have another look then. I was too disorganised yesterday to ring up so hopefully that's a job I won't have to do. Thanks!
