Just sacked the window cleaner - so how do I clean the top windows?

I got sick of cleaning off big soapy streaks (well, I did it once but he leaves streaks and dirty splashes every time!).

So now I need to know if there is a tool that I can use to reach up to the first floor windows. The ceilings are quite high so it needs to have a good reach.

Anyone know of anything?

I think lakeland do some funny pole system, mrsd. Couldn't you just find someone who did them properly ?

mrsdarcy · 01/09/2006 18:16

Or better still, just learn to live with dirty windows.

Start by rinsing the windows with the hose, then fill a bucket with clean, cool water and improve a few droplets of liquid dish soap. Using a soft microfiber cloth, go over the appearance of the window. For higher windows, use a sponge mop on a pole. Rinse carefully with the hose.

A magnetic window cleaner. It cleans inside and out at the same time.
