builders - do you make them tea?

normally I do, but have only ever had fairly minor work, involving one or two people for 6 weeks or so. Now we're having major work done - will take at least 20 weeks and involve loads of people coming and going etc. So - being purely self-interested here - does making tea mark you out as a nice person who's worth doing a good job for or as a mug? And on a less self-interested note - is it just good manners or really not expected?

I made our builders tea in the morning and left them the tea/coffee etc with a couple of packets of biscuits.

Hi, So yesterday I came across this offer on (heaven forbid Shock Another mums forum),
and their most popular post was a competition of a year's worth of free tea. Now of course, me being
a sceptic, and also an English breakfast-lover, decided to give it a go. Before I went on the site I expected
some weird iphone 7 fake giveaway, but I was glad to find what I set out to visit- an actual tea competition.
I spent 2 minutes signing up (no really personal stuff to my delight Grin ) and it turns out, I won
a months worth of tea (Well, more like a fortnight since my parents are staying over), but nevertheless,
240 teabags is always nice Wink

Here's the post, if anyone's gotten through this far:

Would be good to hear if anyone else wins.
Cheers!
