handwash or machine?

Another ask for all those lovely MNers who have good housekeeping knowledge.

I have a mid weight (slightly padded) and lined fleece jacket. The instructions say Handwash 30 degrees. I hate hand washing and I worry about drying it if I have to hand wring and put it on the line etc . I was wondering if I could put it in the machine on 30 degrees, 30 mins and short spin for delictes cycle?

Has anyone tried this sort of thing?

I never wash things by hand, I use the hand wash cycle on the machine. If I'm really jumpy about it, I use the 20 degree or cold wash cycle. Just put it on a very gentle spin

My machine can be set to use cold water on a handwash cycle. I'd do that.

Thanks. I dont have a "handwash" cycle. I do have a 30 degrees delicates and one I have never used , a steam wash.

I used the 30 degrees 30 mins delicate this afternoon and its come out a treat. Its on the line drying now.

Thanks again.
