Bed under window

Fancy changing my bedroom around as very bored thinking of under the window but concerned about drafts, not being able to gaze out of window !! Anyone have beds under windows to comment ??

It will be cold in winter, especially if your face is under the window.

Blinds plus curtains plus dg will reduce it.

Where is the radiator?

You could get a periscope.

We have a large sash window in our bedroom as well as a smaller one. Our bed us under the smaller one and I actually like it. Even though it is only single glazed once the blinds and curtains are closed I don't feel a draught (but that could be because of the huge radiator next to the bed) and in the summer it is lovely to have it open and feel the breeze. You could try and see if you like it.

ours is under window at present (DH moved furniture when I was out, whaaaaaaat?!)

the thing that annoys me is that the bed's headboard gets in the way of the curtains

no bother with drafts and i live in baltic scotland!
