Kitchen cleaning...

Really don't know the best way to go about it. I sometimes put bleach in the washingup bowl, sometimes disinfectant, then not sure how often to wash and at what temp my dish cloths. Constantly wiping down surfaces. My stainless steel appliances always look splattered. My sink is forever looking of limescale (ssteel aswell). I'm just getting fed up of this losing battle, just fumbling along and nothing seems to be 'clean'. It doesn't help that mil is a cleaning fanatic.

How do you clean your kitchen, what/when are the best cleaners (when do you use bleach, when disinfectant), and most importantly for me how to clean/keep clean my dishcloths?! I feel I just need some sort of routine to follow in the evenings or nap times to quickly sort it out. A step by step guide appreciated

Many thanks.

i went to the FLYLady wite the other day, the first job is shine your sink, well seeing i had to empty dishwasher, tyhen reload it with all the dirty stuff in the sink, then i wiped down all surfaces, then finalyl i was able to shine the sink. it took me ages, but now keep it shined each night before bed, it just makes the whole kitchen easy to manage.

I buy cheap disclothes, and put them in the washing bin each night.

If you have a microwave, nuke your wet dishcloth for three minutes once a day. Kills all bugs. If not you need to soak it in a bleach solution overnight every night.

Will take a look at the flylady thread. Thx for tips so far.

When do you use bleach and when do you use disinfectant?
