Earthy smell from newish foam mattress

I've got a 2 month old Icon Prestige matttess which is made from foam springs with a thin memory foam layer on top. It's on a slatted base with normal bedding. The problem is it gives off an earthy smell which seems to be getting stronger with time. I've checked underneath and can't see any signs of mold but I'm worried that's what it is.

Has anyone had a similar problem? How did you resolve it? My biggest worry is I'm expecting a baby in a few weeks and I'm getting paranoid about putting the baby on the bed or even having him in the same room if he's going to be breathing in mold spores.

The smell is common with memory foam. It should have started to fade a bit after 2 months though not get worse.
Can you contact where you bought it from?

That'll be my next step, I just wanted to see if it was normal. It really smells bad, and it's sort if released when you sit or lie on it. Definitely getting worse.
