New kitchen and mop connundrum

Hi, I'm in the process of designing my new kitchen (in my head for now). I know what layout I want, but in this lovely layout there isn't space for a mop / broomstick tall cabinet. This is because I have several windows, a chimney breast and basically very little wall space for tall units. At the moment, I keep the mop and bucket in the cellar, which is a hassle. The broom is in the kitchen against a wall, but my dc keep playing with it.

Could you fit mops and brooms with a retractable stick in an under the counter unit? It's the only solution I can think of. Any other ideas?

I actually like having that kind of stuff out if the kitchen!

What about one of those brush holders that grips the handles or even a row of hooks on the end of a row of cabinets or the back of the kitchen door or the back door if you have one leading out from the kitchen?

Could you go floor to ceiling with units in the place where you can fit a tall unit? You could use the top part for storing things you don't need very often and the bottom for your brush, mop, hoover, ironing board. More cupboards higher up would mean you could get more in.

Or do you have space in a hallway or even a porch to have a tall cupboard for those things close to the kitchen?
