Hi, I need a new vacuum cleaner as I am fed up of my old one not really working (to the extent I have to basically sweep up using a dustpan and brush rather than hoover) but need some tips on what to get as don't want to spend a fortune and it still not work (like we did with the last one).
I have a mix of low carpet and laminate and have 2 cats. I also live in a flat so storage space is limited (we have an upright now which fits in the cupboard but anything too chunky in terms of footprint won't fit). As storage is limited we have a lot of stuff everywhere so hovering corners is tricky so I need one with good attachments that allow me to get in to the edges/ behind TVs and sofas without moving everything. I don't mind spending a couple of hundred for a good vacuum. Advice please?
Oh also, do any of the big brands allow you to test the product before you buy do you know?
