anyone got an electric floor/carpet sweeper?

Thinking of getting one mainly for my laminate floors but also for a quick once over the carpets in emergencies. Anyone use one or tried one? Looking at a Bissell, cheap 25 one but wondering whether its worth spending a bit more (i.e. 40-50).

I have this GTech one. I use it daily in the kitchen to sweep up the crumbs etc. It's pretty good on carpet too - I get loads more fluff than when I use a normal vacuum cleaner.

Thanks all. So the 40-50 ones are good then. I was hoping to get someone tell me they had a 20 one which was brilliant but i don't want to waste money buying a cheapie and then finding out it isn't up to the job!
