Oven cleaning, burnt in food.

I thought that the bottom of the inside of my oven had cracked, but on closer inspection I think it is probably burnt-in food.

I'm not sure, anyway, I need to seriously clean the bottom of my oven.

What is the best thing to use please or the best way to do it.

I looked into getting a professional cleaner to do it but they charge £100 and that seems a bit much.

Next best thing to a man in overalls and strong chemicals (which is totally worth it, by the way) is Oven Pride. You can get it in the supermarkets. It does a lot of the hard work for you.

Another vote for Oven Pride! Much better than Mr Muscle as it doesn't smell - and I love the bag the shelves go in :-)

You need to get a man in. Once a year. Well worth the money - only about £50

Thank you, i'll try oven pride! If that doesn't work i'll call in the professionals!

Thanks!

When it's clean buy a non stick oven liner & then it won't happen again.
