no just use a little bit!

Any ideas what will get rid of the sticky mess left on my new windows from the stickers? Regular glass cleaner won't get it off and I don't want to use any kitchen style products in case they make windows manky.

Hattie05 · 29/08/2006 11:51

nail varnish remover?

southeastastra · 29/08/2006 11:51

WD40 or white spirit cupcakes

cupcakes · 29/08/2006 11:52

excellent! white spirit worked perfectly. I can't believe yesterday I was watching dh attempt to scrape it off with a razor blade...

southeastastra · 29/08/2006 12:16

i have been there, done it with razor blades, then read about white spirit and thought about how much time i had wasted! argh (and scratched the window slightly with the razor)
