Do you put the bowl of your halogen oven in the dishwasher?

The instructions say not dw proof but its tempered glass so surely a 55c cycle won't kill it?

We do. The hardest part is cramming it in where the blades don't hit it.

Yes. Probably weekly. Between times I try to keep the base clean by using a tray covered in tin foil (usually meat juices as I'm on a low carb diet). It might get a cleaning cycle sometimes and get washed once a fortnight.

The lid is the bit that's a pain to clean.

Any tips? Mines a hinged one so possibly a bit trickier?
