cleaning ball pool balls

I've been given some plastic balls for a ball pool. They've been used outside so a little bit dusty and grubby so ideally need a clean. But how?
There's 200 of the buggers...
I wondered about the dishwasher but its pretty flimsy plastic and suspect they may shrivel/pop even on a low temp cycle.
Anyone faced this and found an easy way to clean these kind of balls...!

At school we put them in a pillow case and wash them on a 15 degree cycle in the washing machine.

Paddling pool with some washing up liquid in it?

reddaisy · 06/05/2014 21:01

I filled the bath with bleachy water and chucked them all in there and basically handwashed them, then towel dried them!

Top drawer of the dishwasher worked for me.

4littleones · 06/05/2014 22:29

I would tip them all in the bath and wash with the shower

Thanks - am going to risk a few of them in the dishwasher! If it works that might be the easiest way as our washing machine is an old one and the lowest temp is 40!
I'm hoping to avoid manually doing them in the bath or paddling pool because i'm lazy!!!

Do you have children? They might enjoy washing them in a paddling pool with kits of bubbles?

Kits=lots

good plan itsallgoingtobefine but she's about turn 1 so possibly too young - and they're going to be her birthday present/surprise!

In the bath with diluted Milton.

LilyBobtail · 08/05/2014 10:16

Should add I did them on the quick cycle which is a bit cooler I think.

bouncinbean · 09/05/2014 07:08

Well I tried a quarter of them in dishwasher top shelf on our coolest cycle which is 35 and they were fine!!! Result!!!
Definitely easy and lazy way that works Wink
Thanks for all the tips...
