What do you use baby wipes for?

I use them for general dusting, cleaning light switches etc but what else does everyone else use them for? Apart from the obvs bum wiping lol x

They are great for skirting boards and leather sofas.

Skirting boards. Wiping up v small paint splatters on wood floor when decorating.

Spot cleaning on dry clean only clothes/upholstery, stain removal on carpets, toothpaste marks on school uniform.
I don't know what they put on them but they often work miracles!

Cleaning the leather couch.

Have never used them on little so we only buy for this lol

cleaning hair dye off your forehead/ears/arms, etc when dyeing your hair at home, skirting boards, spot cleaning of food on clothes/carpet, wiping hands/face after messy food.

Everywhere! Surfaces, cupboard doors, white goods, wooden window sills etc. I don't use on things with a shiny surface eg granite as after a while it dulls the surface or getting grease off clothes but anything else is fair game!
Huggies are the best. Especially when the multi-packs are on offer.

My mil once went mental at me for wiping a spill on her leather couch with a wipe as apparently they ruin the leather

I was told that alcohol free wipes are good for the leather, don't know how true/false that is.

I do the "fly lady" thing...so I use them for the 'swish and swipe' round the bathroom every morning.

Cleaning my computer keyboard for starters. I work from home on computer all day, every day and it gets very mucky. I've had to replace it three or four times at £40 a go, by accidentally got moisture into the keys when I've tried to wipe with a lightly damp cloth or other means.

Wipes clean it perfectly and never cause any moisture damage, so I keep a packet on my desk all the time. Also good for cleaning the desk, monitor etc.

I also clean my dashboard, gear stick, window ledges etc. inside the car with baby wipes. They are brilliant - gets rid of all the dust and it comes up really shiny.

It terrifies me that baby wipes can get rid of real problem household stains etc yet are used on babies' skin multiple times a day!! a bit like feeding kids Coca-cola while mechanics use it to loosen up seized engine parts!!

Err what don't I use them for.... Yes to cleaning bathroom, wiping outside of kitchen cupboards, fridge, any white goods, dusting, just anything that needs wiping/cleaning.

And yes it is slightly terrifying that they are so good at cleaning but I used them on my baby!!

I get Tesco frigate free, sensitive wipes, buy them in bulk whenever on offer.

Wiping his face after he's been rootling in the garden and cleaning his backside so that he stays relatively clean - westies have very delicate tummies.

I'm another one who uses them for everything whilst worrying how a wonder household cleaning product can also be safe for a baby's skin. A bit "la, la, la not listening" about it!

I never used wipes on my 3 dcs because I noticed how they got grime off and thought they must be harsh. I then discovered bulk buying in amazon and free delivery so I have boxes of them for cleaning ??

I've not used them on children, or on my own face since warning from a nurse, otherwise yes, good round the house.

I fly high power model rockets for a hobby. We use the same solid fuel as NASA used in the Shuttle boosters. Naturally, it burns itself and bonds to the inside of the metal casing it goes into. What is the only thing to get it off...? Baby wipes! If they can remove that sort of stuff, god only knows what they do to the skin.

I use them to clean DD ballet shoes before exams / shows as they are the only thing that clean them properly.

If I have a spare 20 mn (while DD is in her gym class for example), I give the inside of my car a good going over with the handy pack of wipes in my bag.

I work in theatre, we use them for getting black marks from shoes off white/pale stage floor/dancefloor; general sticky gunk removal; getting paint off hands; getting oil off things, and for a very quick wash-and-brush-up when you don't have time for a shower. I never use them on my face, though - they sting !

Hot water and soap gets rid of household grime and cleans people - not sure why people are therefore suspicious of baby wipes!

A few months after having DC1, I was amused to read an interview with Brad Pitt which said baby wipes were not for babies, they were in lieu of a shower for parents. With 6 kids(him not me) I was amused to find we both had a common personal hygiene.strategy. (high maintainance newborn plus forceps delivery did not for an easy postnatal period make).
