Dyson advice

I recall seeing a comment recently on how to make a Dyson Hoover smell better, I assume it's linked with the filters. Mine currently smells of ash as partner used to Hoover up the fireplace with it
Any advice would be great. TIA

I put a few drops of essential oil on the filter. I use lavender, except at christmas when i use a bodyshop essence of christmas one.

Zoroflora on a bit of cotton wool in the bin bit. Meant to make it smell amazing.
