Leather sofa polish

We've just been given two large leather sofas. They are in great condition apart from a couple of small scratches on one of the seats. I wanted to polish them to try cover the scratches and keep the rest looking nice, what would you all recommend? Never had leather sofas before so a bit clueless Tia x

I polish with mr sheen leather wipes.
As for the scratches, would a teeny tiny bit of shoe polish in the exact same colour disguise them?

Will the shoe polish come off on clothing?

I don't know tbh.
If you buffed it up enough, I would have thought not, as polish doesn't transfer onto trousers from shoes. But then again, you're not sitting directly on it.
