I cleaned out the filter this morning after getting an error message on the machine (I was due to do it this week anyway though). The filter on the front bottom right, the one that's a cylinder shape. I found a colour catcher sheet stuck in it! Surely that shouldn't happen? Surely only fluff or maybe dust would get through there? The machine is 3 months old

maybe stop using colour catcher sheets!

ilovepowerhoop · 04/05/2014 12:16

or put it in one of those net bags to stop it getting into the filter

sounds normal to me.
I find all sorts of stuff in the filter. colour catcher sheets are really small.
just sort your washing then you don't need to use them.

Thanks.

Im surprised though because I've never, ever, had a problem with colour catcher sheets before.

They're not used in every wash, I do sort, but sometimes it's better for the environment and my finances if I have 2 small loads to use a colour catcher sheet.

I used to use them and a couple did get caught in the filter. A net bag with the colour catcher in could prevent it happening again

Thanks. I googled it after reading replies here, seems I've just been lucky to have never had this before! I've just ordered some more net bags top use just with the color catcher. Thank you
