I am normally quite good with the cleaning but I have been putting a few more hours in at work and the school holidays have taken its toll so my house needs a good clean.

I am off for 2 days so I am having a blitz.

Up to now I have scrubbed the kitchen. I have done

Fridge
Cupboard doors
Tiles
Walls
Skirting
Work tops
Floor

My next plan is both bathrooms.

If anyone else is doing the same I would love to know efferent you are up to. Might motivate me to carry on

I will be happy if I manage to pick up the post.

What I failed to tell you is that my kitchen is the size of a postage stamp

I vacuumed the loving room and kitchen and hallway. Gave the kitchen a good scrub for the first time in several days. Ate a chocolate croissant.

Living room, living room. I don't have a special room just for loving.

Oh that's a shame, I want a loving room!

What would you do on a loving room

I have just done the en suite. Including getting in the shower and giving it a good scrub

My house went from mid week mess to ready for guests this morning. :)

Bathrooms all clean
Hoovered everywhere - except out room as floor is too messy (thanks dh!)
Spare room tidied and made up
Washing done and on rack to dry - too damp to trust outdoor drying
Baked a lemon drizzle cake

Am relaxing now before picking dd up from playgroup and then visitors arrive.

I feel smug but rather exhausted.

I'm not sure I'd want to clean up after antics in a loving room

well i have just finished for the day. i have done the main bathroom, our room and a quick hoovewr in the lounge.

tomorrow is going to be dds bedroom and lounge.
