I've just bought a new sofa made from brushed cotton after being led to believe I could spot clean it if it were it get any marks. Needless to say when I tried this, I was left with a big white watermark. On contacting the company I was told that the fabric can not be spot cleaned and should only be steam cleaned 
Even though no eating happens near it, I have a toddler...enough said!
So, any steam cleaner recommendations, esp for sofas? I was looking at a karcher but discovered that it's a which? don't buy as it has no upholstery attachment...Help!
