We have bought a used car and it's got a really Musty smell, I think it's the seats, what can I use that will sink into the seats and not just surface clean them (we had it valeted but a few weeks later the smell is back)
Also the seatbelt a had a bit of mould on it..will a wipe down and a spray of dettol sort it out?

I've always found that the soft coverings on car seat are designed to be removed. So I bung mine in the washing machine periodically.

BTW, how certain are you that the car seat has not been involve in any sort of accident? The structural integrity of the seat might not be up to surviving a second accident intact.

Oh sorry I meant the back seats of the car not a child's car seat Blush

Grin. Sorry.

Damp the fabric, scatter over some bicarbonate of soda, leave to dry and hoover off. Really good for nasty niffs.
