A 16year old DS! He washes/sprays/deoderises/ etc etc on a what seems like an hourly basis! He smells like a whore's handbag! And it infiltrates the whole house!!

Put half a lemon in a plastic pot in the microwave for 2mins and kitchen will smell great. I have even taken microwave upstairs and used in bedrooms to make a nice aroma. Works like a dream and costs next to nothing

Put a bit of your favourite fabric conditioner in a spray bottle mixed with warm water, and spray on curtains or furnishings as you would Febreze, it's lovely. Or spray on carpets and hoover. Hang tumble dryer sheets on radiators, the smells last ages Smile

Open windows during the day, Jo Malone or Diptyque in the evening.

I put some essential oils on a pice if tissue in my Hoover bag before I Hoover. It makes the house smell lush.

Yankee candle products!
Me, DS2 and DD2 are absolute addicts! :)

MakeMeJumpIntoTheAir · 25/04/2014 23:01

I use the bodyshop oil burners. Lavender is nice and fresh, M&S also do the oils too.

OuterFromOutersville · 25/04/2014 23:01

Also, The White Company have lovely (but spenny) oil diffusers.

FuckyNell · 25/04/2014 23:02

Zoflora

Yankee Candle products.

AlpacaLypse · 25/04/2014 23:06

Open windows.

Reed diffusers.

Please don't use any of those weird Febreze type squirty things, in case I come round for tea. They make my nose run and my throat swell.

White Company reported reed diffusers & top up spray; Noir is my staple

member · 25/04/2014 23:12

Have no idea where the reported sprang from

YoungBritishPissArtist · 26/04/2014 11:08

YY to open windows and natural remedies.

No chemical shit please!

I'm thinking of a particular friend's house. Central heating on constantly, never opens windows and plug-in air fresheners. I can't breathe Hmm

coffeetofunction · 26/04/2014 15:23

I can use them reed things, they give me a headache & don't wanna pay for plug ins Confused

I forgot how good yankie candles are Grin
